Training is of vital importance to ensure that everyone within an organisation is aware of their responsibilities regarding health, safety and environment. Dr Alistair Bromhead can offer a range of training courses on environmental, health and safety topics. These can be adapted from off-the-shelf packages with the inclusion of company specific material. Courses can also be designed specifically for your company. Alistair has been running training sessions for over a decade.

He is a Chartered Institute of Environmental Health registered tutor and operates a registered centre for the provision of health, safety and environmental training. He can also offer a variety of City & Guilds accredited courses which he has developed himself

City & Guilds accredited training

  • City & Guilds - Manual handling train the trainer
    2 day course to train managers and supervisors on manual handling risk legislation, assessment, anatomy, safe handling techniques and training to enable them to deliver safe handling training in-house. This is the only course to enable participants to achieve this nationally recognised certificate

  • City & Guilds -  Certificate in Health and Safety
    2 day course for managers to provide an overview of legislation, risk assessment and best practice. This course is only run on an in-house basis at the moment and it can be tailored to your needs

  • City & Guilds: Certificate in Environmental Management
    2 day course for managers giving a firm foundation for environmental management knowledge. The course covers the global issues, carbon debate, legislation, cleaner design, resource efficiency and environmental management systems. This course is only run on an in-house basis at the moment and it can be tailored to your needs
