Under the Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations, employers are required to ensure that exposure to hazardous substances is controlled. Dust such as wood dust, have Workplace Exposure Limits which must not be exceeded and steps must be taken to get exposure as far below as reasonably practical.
We offer a dust exposure monitoring service to measure the level of dust exposure of individual employees. We will provide this information in a report which combines recommendations as to how any problematic exposures might be reduced.
Dust surveys can be combined with noise monitoring exercises to keep costs down.
