Course Introduction
This 1 day manual handling instructor refresher course is designed to enhance manual handling delivery for existing trainers. It will be particularly beneficial for instructors who have previously completed our 2 day City & Guilds accredited Manual Handling Train the Trainer programme. The course provides updates on relevant statistics, best practice, legislation and case law. We also focus on new information on some of the technical issues such as anatomy and risk assessment.
The course incorporates new training techniques to keep sessions interesting for the trainer and trainee. In addition, consideration will be given to the design and delivery of refresher courses for handlers.
