Alistair Bromhead Ltd specialises in manual handler trainer training with an emphasis on sessions which are interesting, enjoyable and productive for the delegates. The services are provided by Alistair in conjunction with a select number of other experienced trainers.   Dr Alistair Bromhead 
BA(Hons) PGDipl  MSc  MIEMA  CEnv  CMIOSH

Alistair has over 16 years experience of health, safety & environmental issues in the UK and Europe. He developed the City & Guilds Certificate in Manual Handling Train the Trainer qualification and has extensive experience of many areas of H&S training, risk assessment, legislation & best practice. He provides advice direct to companies as well as working with insurers, regulators as well as acting as a consultant for various Government bodies and a trade association. 

 

 

 

 

Joe Bird

Joe joined the fire service in 1975 and has a wealth of practical handling skills along with a range of health, safety and fire service qualifications. Joe has extensive training experience on a range of subjects such as manual handling, risk assessment, first aid, road traffic accident rescue techniques, fire fighting, animal rescue and oxygen therapy. He now works part time for the fire service as a Watch Manager and undertakes training for a wide variety of companies across a range of sectors

 

John Jackson

John is a practicing sports therapist (10 yrs experience) specialising in back care and has been involved in manual handling training for over 20yrs. He is a qualified instructor in fitness & health, sports first aid, sports therapy, client handling and evacuation chairs. He currently provides a range of training courses for industry and is a senior lecturer in sports therapy as well as being recently retired from the fire service after 30yrs.

 

 

Hugh Willding

Hugh has over 30 years of fire service experience. He has undertaken a variety of roles and has significant training experience in a range of topics such as manual handling, first aid, breathing apparatus, fall arrest equipment, ladder safe use and testing, positive pressure ventilation techniques and industrial fire fighting. Hugh has a range of teaching qualifications and also works as an NVQ assessor and part time college tutor.

 

Richard Walsh

Richard has over 18 years of experience in health and safety related training. He has undertaken manual handling training across a wide range of sectors throughout the UK, Ireland and Europe as well as conducting training on other topics such as workplace wellness, risk assessment, fire safety, working at heights and construction equipment. 

 
   

 

Angela Hinton

Angela is a chartered and state registered physiotherapist who runs an independent practice treating musculoskeletal injuries: neck and back pain, joint pain, arthritis and sports injuries. As well as having practical experience on a daily basis regarding the moving and handling of patients, Angela conducts training on manual handling and patient handling, in addition to being a certified instructor in modern pilates.
